Who I Work With
‘My approach is always thoughtful and tailored, taking into account the individual, their stage of life, and the wider context in which they live’.
Children
I support children across different stages of development, including those who may be experiencing emotional, behavioural, or social difficulties, as well as challenges at home or at school.
I aim to create a safe and supportive space where children can express themselves in ways that feel natural to them, helping them make sense of their feelings and experiences, and supporting emotional development, confidence, and resilience.
Adolescents and Young People
Adolescence and early adulthood can be a complex, challenging, and often demanding time, with increasing pressures, changing relationships, and a developing sense of identity.
I work with adolescents and young people who may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, anger, difficulties with self-esteem, or challenges in relationships, as well as difficulties within school, college, university, or the work environment.
Alongside offering a space where they feel understood, the work focuses on helping them develop insight, build resilience, and find practical and effective ways of managing difficulties and moving forward.
Parents
I work closely with parents, offering a supportive and reflective space to think together about your child’s needs and experiences.
The work focuses on developing a clear and shared understanding of what may be going on, alongside identifying practical and individualised strategies and interventions to support change at home, at school, and in everyday situations.
I support parents in making sense of your child’s strengths, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and wider emotional needs. Together, we can work on communication, relationships, emotional wellbeing, and day-to-day challenges in a thoughtful and supportive way, helping you feel more confident, understood, and better equipped to support your child and family.
Adults
I work with adults experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma, OCD, anger, relationship difficulties, and challenges related to life transitions or loss.
You may consider therapy when something no longer feels manageable, or when patterns in your thinking, relationships, or emotional responses begin to feel stuck or difficult to shift. I offer a space to step back and reflect, to develop a deeper understanding of what may be going on, and to work towards meaningful and lasting change.
Alongside this, the work focuses on developing practical and effective ways of managing current difficulties, strengthening resilience, and supporting change that feels sustainable over time.
My approach integrates evidence-based psychological therapies with a thoughtful and individualised understanding of your experiences, helping you to better understand your experiences, strengthen resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence in a way that feels meaningful to you.
ADHD and Autism
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and parents navigating experiences related to ADHD, autism, and broader neurodevelopmental differences, offering psychological support that takes into account each person’s individual experiences, strengths, and challenges.
This may include difficulties related to emotional wellbeing, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, sensory sensitivities, emotion regulation, school, work, or navigating everyday life.
Alongside developing a clearer understanding of these experiences, the work focuses on identifying supportive and practical ways of managing difficulties, building on strengths, and helping individuals and families feel more understood, confident, and better equipped to manage daily life.
